ACD Chancellor Honored with HACU’s President’s Award of Excellence

Dr. Mike Flores, Chancellor of the Alamo Colleges District, has been awarded the esteemed President’s Award of Excellence by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU).
Dr. Flores was recognized for his outstanding leadership and dedication to expanding opportunities for Hispanic students. He received the award at HACU’s 38th Annual Conference, themed “Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Reaching New Heights of Excellence and Equity.”
As Chancellor, Dr. Flores has been a driving force behind initiatives to break down barriers for students in higher education. His vision and commitment have fostered an environment of inclusivity and support, ensuring that more students can access quality education and advance their careers.
Reflecting on the honor, Dr. Flores shared, “This award represents the dedication of so many who work tirelessly to uplift and support our students.
