Speech Communication courses at NLC prepare you to transfer to many Texas public universities to complete a bachelor’s degree in a related field and succeed in a competitive job market

All NLC students have access to a speech lab for tutoring and support with speech writing and delivery skills. We offer this service to any students taking NLC courses. We host a Speech Showcase for our distinguished presenters. We also offer a student award for “Communication Excellence.”

Students who complete the Texas Core Curriculum and Field of Study at any public two-year institution automatically qualify to receive an associate degree – the Texas Direct Transfer Degree.
