Agustin Valdes Martinez

Agustin Valdes Martinez is a 2021 graduate of Northeast Lakeview College. He is part of the Judson Early College High School Program (JECA) where in May, he will receive a high school diploma from Judson ISD and an Associate Degree from Northeast Lakeview College. Martinez will be attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) starting in the Fall of 2021.

Martinez and his parents emigrated to the United States pursuing the “American Dream,” an ideal they believe lies in education.

Martinez has goals to become a world-renowned electrical engineer, bringing brighter futures to future generations. His next steps are to earn a PhD at MIT, become a professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), and conduct cutting edge research about the future of quantum computing.
