Meaghan Setterbo

Meaghan Setterbo is a 2021 Northeast Lakeview Collegegraduate. During her time at NLC, she has served in various leadership roles. Currently, she serves as the President of the NLC Student Government Association and will represent the Class of 2021 by providing commencement remarks. Meaghan also serves as Chair of the Alamo Colleges District Council, a peer mentor in the Women Leaders of NLC, and a member of the NLC Performing Arts Club, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership & Success, and participates in several community and civic organizations.


Meaghan is a Hurricane Harvey survivor, in fact her entire freshman year was derailed. She was studying at Texas A&M Corpus Christi when she was told to evacuate and left with one suitcase and some paperwork, leaving her car and other belongings behind. Completely losing her first year of college, she came to Northeast Lakeview College to rebuild and restart her education. Meaghan will now attend Texas State University to obtain a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies with a concentration in Interpersonal Communications. Her ultimate goal is to pursue a Master’s in Social Work.
