What is the office management program?

The Office Management program provides students many hands-on activities to develop their written and oral communication skills, computer literacy, budgeting, and other office skills needed to thrive in organizations. Students are introduced to a wide variety of subjects that will prepare them to manage and organize themselves and their workplace environment. The program prepares students to gain comprehensive skills and assume responsibilities in the workplace, and they will combine real world technical and business instruction with a well-balanced academic background.

 

Office Management Program Highlights

In 2019, the Office Management program was rated 6th across the nation – and best in Texas – for Online Administrative Assistant Associate Degree Programs  by BestColleges.com. In the program, students will learn with state-of-the-art technology in courses taught by award-winning faculty with significant industry experience.

Students in the Office Management program can use the foundational skills learned to pursue careers as an administrative assistant/secretary;administrative technician; clerk/receptionist; executive assistant; financial assistant; first-line supervisor; human resources manager; legal administrative assistant; legal transcriber; and office manager.
