The Ray Ellison Family Center (REFC) provides a child-centered program for children of Palo Alto College students, faculty/staff, and community members. The REFC strives to provide an early childhood program that promotes each child’s social/emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.

We are currently offering a dual-language program. REFC staff is dedicated to ensuring that children’s educational development continues to thrive during these unprecedented times. If you are interested in continuing your child’s learning enrichment, please get in touch with us at pac-refc@alamo.edu

Curriculum Goals:

Ray Ellison Family Center utilizes the FrogStreet Dual Language Curriculum for Toddlers and Pre-school, a comprehensive,research-based, and dual-language curriculum designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting ten learning domains. In addition to the Frog Street Dual Language Curriculum, the Center also aligns with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) curriculum standards to provide meaningful learning experiences and activities throughout the day. Frog Street is approved by the Texas Education Agency for Proclamation 2021-Pre-Kindergarten Adoption.
