The mission of the San Antonio College Office of Public Relations (SAC-PR) is to accurately and favorably represent San Antonio College to all internal (students/employees) and external audiences (community/partners/donors/alumni.)
SAC-PR develops and executes strategic marketing communications campaigns. In doing so, the SAC-PR Office serves the college community by offering publicity, promotion, advertising, marketing and branding assistance. All departments and offices at San Antonio College are encouraged to work with SAC-PR to ensure maximum exposure.
The SAC-PR Office, part of the College Services division, maintains the College's website, news/events, official social media accounts, and digital signage. In addition, SAC-PR publishes a weekly e-newsletter for faculty, staff, and students called "SAC Talk."
SAC-PR is also responsible for managing relationships with various media outlets and community partners including SAC's school newspaper, The Ranger, and SAC's college radio station, KSYM 90.1 FM.
