What is the Associate of Science (A.S.) program?

The Associate of Science is designed to align closely with the first half of a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Students should follow the pre-major A.S. to B.S. Transfer Advising Guide for the major and university selected. The Transfer Advising Guides are developed in conjunction with the senior institution to which the student plans to transfer.

What will I learn?

The first half of a B.S. degree.

What can I do with this course of study?

Transfer to a senior institution to pursue a B.S.

What's special about the program?

To be awarded the A.S., nine of the 18 hours must be from specific courses. For the remaining nine hours the student may select any transfer course from the college’s course listing. Please check with your advisor for assistance.

Students should follow the pre-major A.S. to B.S. Transfer Advising Guide for the major and university selected.
