About Transportation Services Technology at SPC

Start as a driveway mechanic or even a fast-learning high school senior...leave prepared to become a fully certified ASE automotive, diesel or auto collision technician!  You'll master the skills needed to service all types of modern vehicles, work with computer programs and audiovisuals, and prepare to successfully complete the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) tests. Learn to be a professional in the transportation services industry and gain valuable workplace skills with our 6 rewarding programs!


***Note***If you are new to online classes, you are REQUIRED to take the Orientation to Online Learning course, OLRN 0001, CRN#18893 or 20359.  This course familiarizes students with navigating through the online system for a successful start.  Register for the free, self-paced ORLN course the same way as any other course.  See or call 210-486-2239 for more information.  Thank you.



The St. Philip’s College Automotive Technology has two programs, the GM ASEP Automobile technician training and the Automobile technician training, that are recognized by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (NATEF) with Master Accreditation. This status is the highest level of achievement through NATEF, making the St. Philip’s College Automotive Technology program more valuable than ever.
