SPC Co-hosts 7th Annual Texas Veterans Fair

St. Philip’s College is proud to announce its seventh annual Texas Veterans Fair, an event dedicated to honoring and supporting the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families. This year’s event is co-sponsored by State Rep. Barbara Gervin-Hawkins, Dist. 120.

The fair includes services, resources, information, and opportunities for servicemembers, retirees, and families. The event is free and open to the public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost. 

This year’s event will include remarks for a Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Department of Labor, represented at the event by the Hon. James D. Rodriguez, U.S. Department of Labor Assistant Secretary for Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, and SPC President Dr. Adena Williams Loston. A presentation of the Veteran Education Excellence Recognition Award (V.E.E.R.A.) to all five of the Alamo Colleges will include remarks by Texas Veterans Commission Chairwoman Laura Koerner.
