Student Life provides engaging activities that enhance the college experience at St. Philip’s College. Student Life activities build a sense of community and pride within the college, and create connections between the college and its students.

Student Services Activity Fee
- Student Services Fees are based on student
college credit hours. Students are currently charged $1 per credit hour they are registered for each semester.
- The Student Services Advisory Fee committee is composed
of 5 voting student members, 4 voting faculty/staff members, and alternate
- The majority vote of yes/no must come from the student
The Student Services Fee funds co-curricular activities, athletics, Homecoming, CultureFest, the Cesar Chavez March and Juneteenth parades,student organizations, tournaments, health, fitness and wellness and other on/off campus activities.
E. L. Turbon Student Center
The newly renovated Turbon Student Center is beautiful! Enjoy space for lounging, pool tables, ping pong, video gaming area and much more. Students are encouraged to get involved in student organizations. There are numerous organizations on campus: social, special interest, and those affiliated with educational departments. Learn more about student clubs and organizations in Suite 110.
CultureFest & Rib Cook-off
The CultureFest & Rib Cook-Off has become a tradition on our campus. Every year, on the Thursday before the Battle of Flowers Parade, we welcome one and all to celebrate with us. Admission is free and open to the public. Culture Fest 2018 will be held on April 26. Read More >

Student Engagement Grants (SEG)
Grants are appropriated for the academic year. A grant recipient who demonstrates commitment to the project initiative and maintains academic eligibility may receive funding for each session.
The Department of Student Life has SEG opportunities in the following areas: Student Leadership, Spirit and Pride Crew, Student Government Association, Extramural Sports, QEP and the Collegiate 100. For more information on
these projects stop by the second floor of the Turbon Student Center.
