McAllister Auditorium

This building includes the 1,000-seat McAllister Auditorium and the speech communication and theatre programs. Built in 1956, the MCFA is named after first president of SAC’s Board of Trustees, Walter W. McAllister Sr., who co-founded the San Antonio Union Junior College District with James Loftin in 1945 and was instrumental in the purchase of the first tract of land on San Pedro Avenue for San Antonio College.

McCreless Auditorium

Home of the McCreless Theater and the mathematics and education/teacher education programs. The building opened in 1950 and was the first building constructed at the college’s San Pedro Campus. It’s named after G. Sealie McCreless, a local businessman, an original trustee and third president of the San Antonio Union Junior College District.
