About The Alamo Colleges Educator Preparation Program (ACEPP)Designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree and are seeking a route to teacher certification, ACEPP is approved by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) and is ACCREDITED. The program consists of 322 hours of coursework and either a one school year PAID Internship or a 75-day Clinical Teaching experience.

Entry RequirementsThe following admissions and administrative procedures must be completed to be considered as a candidate for the program:

✓ Attend an Information Session (see information sessions below)
✓ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
✓ A minimum GPA of 3.00
✓ An interview
✓ TOEFL requirements (if applicable)
✓ Completed application for admission
Remember to apply early for tuition assistance such as continuing education loans and career loans. Some may be eligible for DOD SkillBridge or Troops to Teachers. After the application process is completed, candidates will be notified by email. |
