Welcome to the Alamo Colleges. This is where the pathway to your educational fulfillment begins. Located in San Antonio, Texas, the Alamo Colleges boast a combined enrollment of over 62,000 students in our network of five colleges including Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip’s College, and San Antonio College. The Alamo Colleges have a 114-year history of providing students with a quality education. We offer more than 425 degree, certificate, and licensing programs.
Class sizes are small and allow for more personal interaction between students and teachers. Instructors teaching on our campuses are leaders in their fields in the San Antonio corporate community and help students apply real-world experience to college courses. The Alamo Colleges have a reputation for academic excellence and rigorous English as a Second Language programs. International students completing their academic course work at any of the Alamo Colleges transfer to four-year colleges and universities and begin working toward their bachelor’s degree.
International student services has a qualified staff of professionals who are available to offer comprehensive assistance to international students regarding admissions processing, immigration advising, and student health service options.
MyMap
Currently international students are not required to complete the MyMap modules to be eligible to register for classes. International students are students who are applying for an I-20 from one of the Alamo Colleges to receive an F-1 visa to study in the United States. Please visit the Future Students page for details on how to apply to one of the Alamo Colleges as an international student. International students who have already applied to one of the colleges and have not been exempted from MyMaps should contact the international advisor at your college.
