Meet the Graduates Shaping What’s Next

Ron Kelley NLC Assoc Grad

Going to Early College High School was everything I thought it would be. Going through those college courses has given me necessary experience as a college student, and it has prepared me in ways I could not have imagined.

The number one reason I would recommend Northwest Vista College is the affordability and the amazing atmosphere for students. There are so many opportunities to grow as a student. I really loved my time at NVC and will cherish the memories I made.

St. Philip’s College became like a little family to me. My instructors motivated me every step of the way, and they helped me see that I could do more than I ever expected. Now, I want to be that example for others — to never hold back and always go after what they want.

The Alamo Colleges have supported me at every level. Without it, voices like mine wouldn’t be present in student decision-making. The Alamo Colleges understand the importance of student voices.

Nicole NLC Assoc

The Alamo Colleges were a good transition from working to school life. I figured out how to communicate effectively with professors and to use the school's resources instead of trying to do it all by myself. It has set me up for success by not only teaching me things I need to know for my degree, but also things I need to know for life.

Niccole Garner

Northeast Lakeview College

Associate of Science and Associate of Arts

Cybill Stephenson NVC BAT Student

For me, the best part about cloud computing is that it isn’t tied to just one industry. Because these skills are in such high demand, earning this degree has given me the freedom to pursue a career path in almost any field that interests me.

Cybill Stephenson

Northwest Vista College

Associate of Applied Science in Network and Cloud Architecture • Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cloud Computing

Zoe Martinez PAC BAT Student

I’m not really into big universities. I like more intimate classes. Being able to take classes in a comfortable setting, at my own pace, helped me stay focused and really commit to my goals. As I kept going in the bachelor's degree program, everything started to connect. My classes, my work, and my goals. It gave me a clearer direction and made me feel more confident in what I was building for my future.

Zoe Martinez

Palo Alto College

Bachelor of Applied Technology in Management

Julian Reyes SPC BAT Student

Life can get in the way, but my advice is to keep pushing forward. The bachelor's degree program at St. Philip’s College has been a rewarding journey for me, and earning my degree is one of my proudest achievements. I hope to show my wife, my children and others that no matter who you are or where you come from, you can create a better future.

Julian Reyes

St. Philip’s College

Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity

Allura Pantoja SAC BAT Student

Earning my degree has been a long time coming, and San Antonio College made all the difference. I started this journey years ago, and thankfully, the credits I had already earned still counted. With a great education, strong support from my campus and my family cheering me on, I was able to finish what I started.

Allura Pantoja

San Antonio College

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
