What is the International Business Management program?

This program gives you a foundation in global business management, including an overview of the political, economic, social and linguistic concepts involved in conducting business internationally.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn about principles of management, international business environments, intercultural communications, global economics, marketing and more. You’ll gain an understanding of the strategies, research and technologies used in business on a global scale. You’ll also build skills in leadership, written and spoken communication, analysis, and technology.

What can I do with this course of study?

You’ll be prepared to pursue entry-level positions in international trade or to continue your education by transferring to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor’s degree. This program creates a foundation for careers in import-export trading, global supply chain management, transportation and logistics, international marketing, among other business support services. You may qualify for jobs in government, global firms, private business or nonprofit organization. Career options include exporting/importing specialists, management analysts, administrative services professionals and supply chain professionals.

What is special about the program?

This program, which is available either face-to-face or fully online, offers you foundational studies in business and global industry standards. The program also offers a Level 1 certificate in International Business, available in under one year, that provides an understanding of international policies in trade, finance and marketing and how they affect global business strategies and decisions.
