What is the Computer Programming program?

This degree plan prepares you for an entry-level position in programming computers.

What will I learn?

This degree plan includes the study of software program design and structured programming techniques. You’ll learn the skills to begin a career as a computer programmer, with the ability to update, repair, modify, and expand existing programs and to analyze, design, and develop new programs.

What can I do with this course of study?

You’ll be prepared to enter the workforce in an entry-level position or continue your education at a four-year university. This program creates a pathway to careers such as computer programmer, software engineer, systems analyst, application developer, PC specialist and microcomputer application specialist.

What makes this program special?
