Prompt: Accept My Existence or Expect My Resistance
Prompt Details
LGBTQIA+ people have endured persecution, discrimination, and marginalization throughout history. But they have also resisted, reshaped societal attitudes, and won acceptance in many parts of the world. LGTBQIA+ individuals have made significant contributions to art, science, literature, and activism. Yet, discrimination and prejudice continue to mar progress, necessitating ongoing resistance.
Using any creative medium that you desire, discuss pivotal moments, influential figures, and ongoing challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, and reflect on how these struggles have fostered resilience, creativity, positive change, and increased visibility.
