Laura Acevedo created the Kristine Meza Foundation after losing her daughter Kristine, a SAC nursing student, to domestic violence at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. By sharing her story, she hopes to prevent others from losing a loved one to domestic violence. Laura and her daughter Jessica Meza will also share the great work the foundation is doing for domestic violence survivors in our community.
