Dennis Norman Named Director of College Services

Dennis Norman has been appointed Director of College Services for San Antonio College. He will report to Dr. Stella Lovato, Vice President for College Services.

His duties will include overseeing several functions, including position planning and control, faculty load and compensation, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, asset management, and facilities management.

He will also oversee environmental sustainability, performance initiatives, safety, and auxiliary services.

Additionally, he will serve as a liaison and coordinate with other college and district offices including facilities and construction management, human resources, information and technology, purchasing, legal services, and risk management.

Prior to joining SAC, Norman was Vice President of Operations at SWBC, an international financial services company, where he led teams focused on Customer Service, Application Analysis, Program Management, and Project Management.

Prior to his role at SWBC, he was Vice President for Customer Service and Application Development for BillingTree in Toledo, Ohio, a company that provided payment solutions to businesses such as healthcare, financial services, and energy industries.

Norman holds a bachelor of science from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He earned a master’s in consumer /industrial psychology from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio and a master’s in business administration from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.
