Jabrasia DossAs a 2023 HBCU Scholar, Jabrasia will serve as a student ambassador for the Initiative and St. Philip’s College, ensuring information, resources, and opportunities are distributed to both campuses. She will also network with other scholars, federal agencies, and private partners to showcase her talent across the HBCU community. Jabrasia was selected from a brilliant group of students and was chosen for her combination of academic achievements, campus leadership, civic engagement, and entrepreneurial spirit which distinguished her candidacy. |

Darshana S. MajarajDarshana is an Invasive Cardiovascular student, who volunteers to serve food to the needy and helps Texas Diaper Bank with the distribution of diaper packages to address the diaper gap for families in crisis. Maharaj is on the President’s Honor roll. |
Helen G. TrotaHelen is a Culinary Arts student and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She serves youth in the community by mentoring, tutoring, and providing activities and meals at Young Life Ministries. |
Marcus D. ClarkMarcus is a Culinary Arts student and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He is the recipient of the DLynn Proctor and Fantesca Estate Scholarship, Tres Grace Family Scholarship, and San Antonio Ivy Educational Scholarship. Clark serves the SPC community in the Student Advocacy Center. |
