The Awareness of the Purple Ribbon

Who We Are

Our Domestic Violence awareness committee consists of dedicated individuals from faculty, staff, and students. We are dedicated to promoting collaboration throughout the St. Philips campus, with the overarching goal of combating domestic violence.

What We Do

We provide a wide range of resources and information specifically focused on bystander intervention. We host a variety of events throughout the year to promote awareness, preventative actions, and educational information about intimate partner violence.

  • Library Display (October 1st)
  • Purple Day (October 4th @ 10:30 a.m.)
  • Colors of Hope, the tie-dye event (October 17th @ 10 a.m.-1 p.m.)
  • Weekly Spirit Days (Every Wednesday @ 11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
