General Job duties

Meeting the general public
Answering phones
Assisting on funeral services
staff meetings
Setting up flowers and other personal keepsakes for families
Preparing documents for services -- register books etc.
Office duties, fax machine, computer, credit card machine, scanner, typewriter, postage meter and stereo system
Run errands
Ushering people into chapels and direct traffic in parking lot
Drive funeral home vehicles for services and picking up families from time to time
preparing refreshments
other duties as directed
professional attire required
may be required to work at other locations

Must have high school diploma or equivalent, previous customer service

    Mortuary Science Early Advisement

    Early advisement fo Summer and Fall  2014 will officially start on March 24  through the month of April! All Mortuary Science students are encouraged to contact Cynthia Escatel to start scheduling their appointments now. You may reach her in the Nail Technical Center room 238, by phone 210-486-1137 or by email .

    All students must bring a copy of their unofficial transcripts to their advisement appointment. These can be printed off their ACES accounts.

    Any "No Shows" to appointments , will automatically be delayed in their adivsement. NO EXCEPTIONS!
