  • The SAC New Faculty Excellence Institute is designed to equip new faculty members with vital information and essential resources, enabling them to effectively navigate their initial year of employment at SAC.

    The comprehensive two-year program offers a warm welcome and engaging orientation sessions, facilitating interactions with our esteemed College Executive Team and fostering connections with peers from diverse departments. It aims to establish a solid groundwork for achieving excellence in teaching and learning, focusing on data-informed instructional methods, innovative curriculum development, and effective course design. By prioritizing these aspects, the institute seeks to elevate student achievement and proactively eliminate obstacles to learning, promoting an inclusive environment that benefits all students.
